The classically designed exterior elevation of the home was the basis for the interior design and style of this beautiful home. When Hatch Interiors were presented with the house plans we brainstormed with the client about the colour palette and particular design inclusions they would like in the their home to achieve a Hamptons inspired feel.
We worked extensively with the client on cabinetry design, tiles selections and flooring finishes to achieve a modern take on this classic style. We first met the clients prior to the commencement of their build and worked with them through the entire construction process and extending to artwork and styling selections too.
The dark American Oak timber floors were a key element of this design which we ensured were complimented with the crisp whites in the Kitchen benchtop and cabinetry. These tones carried through in to the Bathroom and Ensuite cabinetry which worked well against the elegant full height wall tiles.
The finishing style touches to the home ensured that the completed design reflects the coastal American style with eclectic layered detail and meeting the clients expectations for their family home.
When in the design stages of our new home build, we were introduced to Adriana by our builder. We met with her to spend the better part of the day making our selections over at Homebase Subiaco and then onto a couple of tile and carpet shops. We wanted a Hamptons inspired home so this set the tone for our selections and Adriana was able to put all personal opinions aside to meet the brief.
Adriana was always available, well beyond the time contracted to us. We would bounce ideas off her and she helped select artwork and other bits and pieces down the track. She is budget conscious and practical and seems to have a really wonderful rapport with her suppliers and trades. Importantly, she incredibly warm, open minded and generous with her time. We actually gained a friend during the process and can wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone building, renovating or looking to update their home’s interior.
